After the first successful seminars in 2009 we continued the EU funded further education seminars with the expansion of the seminar “THE FOREIGN AND ME – AN INTERCULTURAL DIALOGUE”.

The experience of structure will support a new way of teaching process in art classes, the importance of how individuals can work together, the individual work and presentations of it and learn how to learn of each other’s experiences and theirs point of view.” (Sari Maarit Cedergren, participant)

The seminar “THE FOREIGN AND ME – AN INTERCULTURAL DIALOGUE” 2010 had a stronger focus on the question how we define the country that we are comming from. What kind of advantages and what disadvantages can we recognize, seeing our homeland from outside. What may be an european focus on things that we can connect to our neighbours.
